Georgia Tech Hapkido is a great way to get into shape, reduce stress, meet new people and learn self-defense. We have been teaching Hapkido at Georgia Tech for over twenty years. Hapkido stresses self-defense and fitness; unlike some of the competition or sport-based martial arts (Taekwondo, Karate, Judo).
Hapkido blends Traditional Martial Arts with the best concepts from Jujitsu, Judo, Wrestling and modern self-defense. Hapkido allows students of all shapes and sizes to excel. Being adaptable, Hapkido is well suited to both men and women. The Hapkido Club is an SGA organization and the class is offered through CRC as a GIT Fit course. Students will be certified by the US Hapkido Association under Grand Master Eric Richards and Master Nils Onsager. For information contact Master Nils Onsager at (404) 386-0711 or nils@gthapkido.org. To sign-up, please stop by the Information Counter in CRC, or visit the G.I.T. Fit Web Site. Demonstration on August 29th, 2007 at 6:30pm, please join us. Hapkido. Serious Martial Arts. Serious Fun. |
